| Born and raised in Wyoming, I started guiding hunters in 1973 for an outfitter in Dubois, Wyoming. By guiding for other outfitters I have learned by experience what clients need and want in a wilderness camp. In 1998 I bought an outfitting business in the Washakie Wilderness of the Shoshone National Forest southeast of Yellowstone National Park. My camp is located off the Ishawooa Trail in Lappalli Creek which is the migration route for the mule deer coming out of Yellowstone Park! I also do summer progressive trips into the Bridger Teton Wilderness areas. We have great fishing trips into the Thorofare River and headwaters of the Yellowstone! Trophy Class Hunts and World Class Fishing. Quality hunts in a first class camp is my number one priority! |

Progressive Fishing & Pack Trips
These trips vary in length from 6 to 14 days. However we can customize your trip to fit your schedule. Since these are progressive trips, many of our clients elect to ride from Cody to Jackson Hole or from Jackson Hole to Cody. This is a popular trip with fisherman as we are usually moving camp every other day, thus allowing new rivers, streams and stretches of water to be fished. Progressive trips are not limited to fishing as these trips offer some of the most spectacular scenery the wilderness has to offer. Photographic opportunities abound!
Wilderness Pack Trips
Our Wilderness pack trips are done out of a base camp, and usually range from 3 to 14 days with most of our trips ranging from 5 to 7 days. We begin most of our trips at the trail head which is located south of Cody, and journey into the Washakie Wilderness which is located in the Shoshone National forest. There are various trips that we can take in order to customize your trips the way you like!
Overnight Pack Trips
We offer overnight pack trips out of Cody, WY into the Washakie Wilderness in the Shoshone National Forest. These pack trips are mainly designed for the families and travelers that end up in Cody not realizing that they could have scheduled a pack trip when they were here. Therefore these can be done on very short notice! These are affordable two-day adventures that are great for everyone to enjoy! |
