WILDERNESS FISHING TRIPS

Fly Fishing and Spin Cast Fishing is unbelievable as 18" to 22" cutthroat trout are commonly caught. It's not uncommon for a fisherman to catch and release up to 40 to 50 fish a day! We do progressive trips in which we will move to a new spot each day or every other day so that your fishing a new section of the river, stream, or lake as we move. Experience fishing in the famous Yellowstone Meadows, home of the Yellowstone Cutthroat.

You can choose fishing, hiking, camping, photography or what ever you want to do and for as long as you wish to do it. We will help you plan your trip so that you will be sure to enjoy the full experience. The regions that we travel into are secluded and unfrequented, parts of the Washakie Wilderness and Bridger Teton Wilderness Areas in to order provide excellent opportunities to view and photograph abundant ranges of wildlife.

We offer Overnight Pack Trips out of Cody, Wyoming into the Washakie Wilderness which is part of the Shoshone National Forest. These pack trips are mainly designed for families and travelers that come to Cody not realizing that they can schedule a pack trip while they were here. Therefore these can be done on very short notice! Usually if someone is in Cody and decides that they would like to go on a wilderness pack trip we can leave the next morning! We will start at the trail head and ride up to a predetermined spot and camp, this may be at my base camp in Lapalli Creek or one of the many great spots to camp along the Shoshone River. We will set up tents with all the necessary equipment provided for you. Our experienced guides and the cook will fix a hearty home cooked meal for us. The evenings can be cool so be sure to bring a jacket and enjoy the evening by the campfire! The next morning we will tear down camp and head back to Cody. These are affordable two-day adventures that are great for anyone to enjoy!
